Julien Bastien

Julien joined the team in October 2020. He is responsible for our bond strategy, the analysis of exchange traded funds, portfolio allocation and all stock transactions for our clients. Julien has completed his bachelor’s degree in business administration (B.A.A), with a major in finance, at HEC Montréal. He also holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Julien has over twenty years’ experience in the investment industry in portfolio analysis and management, primarily in the fixed income market. In the last few years, he has contributed in the launch and development of the successful management platform of unified accounts (UMA) at National Bank Financial.

In his spare time, you can find Julien on a ski slope or on a golf course. Otherwise, tech-savvy, he is always on the lookout for new gadgets to try!
